Stage director and violinist. Born in Barcelona in 1985, he trained at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, where he graduated in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy.
In 2001, he founded the company Els Pirates Teatre, of which he has directed the majority of its productions. Notable works he has directed include Els secundaris, El collar de la reina, La Mascarada, Els secundaris and Sing Song Swing by various authors; Nit de Reis, Somni d’una nit d’estiu, and Les Feres de Shakespeare by William Shakespeare; Ronda naval sota la boira by Pere Calders; and La setena porta and Gran Fracaroli by Joan Brossa. He has recently premiered La cuina by Laura Aubert at the Sala Beckett in Barcelona.
In the field of family theatre, he is known for his stage direction of the opera Brundibár by Hans Kráza, La Petita Capmany by Tanaka Teatre, Tot esperant la Mary Poppins or De qui és el bosc with the El Virolet choir from Lluïsos de Gràcia, and various collaborations with the Clavé XXI project of the Orfeó Català Coral School.
Since the 2013-2014 season, he has been the artistic director of El Maldà, a theatre venue in the centre of Barcelona, which has received several critical and audience awards in recent years for its programming.
Since 2020, he has been responsible for the stage direction of the traditional Concert de Sant Esteve at the Palau de la Música Catalana and TV3, and co-stage director of the educational project Cantània at L’Auditori de Barcelona.
His shows have been performed at renowned venues across the country, such as the Teatre Lliure, the Palau de la Música Catalana, L’Auditori, the Teatre Romea, the Teatre Condal, El Maldà, the Joan Brossa Stage, the Sala Beckett, the Kursaal in Manresa, the Teatre Municipal in Girona, and the Ateneu in Igualada, as well as in various European festivals in Germany, Italy, and France.
